Rev Dr Glyn Barrett
NATIONAL LEADER
Glyn Barrett is a pastor, international speaker, leader, and author whose preaching, inspirational teaching, and engaging storytelling continue to challenge and inspire people of all generations around the world.
Together with his wife, Sophia, in 2007 Glyn pioneered and leads !Audacious Church, a vibrant and multi-site church that has grown from just 50 people in a small warehouse to a thriving, multi-generational community across 7 locations. These include 3 campuses in Greater Manchester, as well as Chester, Sheffield, Cardiff, and Geneva. Their central Manchester location alone has a congregation of over 4,000 people.
Glyn serves as the National Leader of Assemblies of God Great Britain, the Chair of Empowered21 for Europe, and the Global Church Planting Chair for Assemblies of God. He is passionate about seeing leaders and pastors break through barriers and ceilings, resulting in souls saved and thriving churches. Glyn is a strong advocate for church planting and empowering the next generation of leaders, and he regularly speaks at conferences and churches worldwide.
Committed to personal growth and lifelong learning, Glyn holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Alphacrucis College in Australia. In May 2026, Glyn also graduated and received his doctorate in ‘Leadership and Global Perspectives’ at Portland Seminary in the USA.
Glyn and Sophia live in Manchester, UK, with their two children, Georgia and Jaedon, and their dog, Milo. When he’s not preaching or leading, you’ll find Glyn enjoying time with family and friends or cheering on Manchester City Football Club!

Assistant National Leader
Stuart serves as Assistant National Leader of Assemblies of God Great Britain, working closely with both Rev Dr Glyn Barrett and directing the National Leadership Team to advance the movement's national vision. He leads the staff team in supporting and empowering AoG ministers and churches, with particular responsibility for operational strategy and vision delivery.
Alongside his national role, Stuart is one of the pastors of !Audacious Church in Manchester. He draws on three decades of ministry experience to preach and teach in churches and conferences across the United Kingdom and internationally. Stuart also coaches senior pastors and their leadership teams through seasons of change, transformation, and growth, and works with national government on partnerships between the church and civil society.
Stuart is married to Julie, a professional counsellor and psychotherapist. They have three adult children and one grandchild, and are based in the North West of England.

Grayson Jones graduated from Mattersey Bible College in 1991. He was the senior leader at Darton, Barnsley for 11 years until he left in 2001. He and his wife Del, took over the leadership of Doncaster Pentecostal Church in July 2002 and have since transformed the church into what is now known as Legacy Church. Over the past 21 years the church has seen significant growth and they have also planted a location in Swansea.
Grayson has been involved in various roles within AOGGB over the past 30 years and brings a wealth of experience to the team. Grayson is married to Del and they have four children and eight grandchildren.

Nick Hughes has been happily married to Debbie for 40 years and together they have three grown-up, married children and four awesome grandchildren. Raised in Hounslow, West London, Nick committed his life to Christ at the age of seven through Hounslow Pentecostal Church, where his lifelong journey of faith and ministry began.
With more than 40 years of active ministry experience, Nick first served as Youth Pastor at his home church before later becoming its Pastor during the 1990s.
In 1998, Nick joined the leadership team at Bethel – London’s Riverside Church (now LRC) in Dagenham, serving alongside Ken Williamson and Stuart Keir. Following a clear sense of God’s leading and prophetic confirmation, Nick accepted an invitation to become Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Church, Lee, in South East London. He began serving in that role in March 2013 and continues to lead the church today. In 2021, Emmanuel Church Lee became known as Emanuel Gateway Church.
Nick is passionate about helping people encounter God through His Word. His ministry is marked by a desire to communicate biblical truth in a clear, practical, and transformative way, enabling people to grasp God’s revelation and apply it to everyday life. His personal mission is simple: to help people and empower them to fulfil their God-given potential.
Nick completed his Master degree in 2023, studying the emergence and early challenges of Pentecostalism in Britain
A musician and worship leader, Nick is also committed to seeing God’s people encounter His presence through vibrant praise and worship, releasing them into their calling and purpose.
When ministry commitments allow, Nick and Debbie enjoy escaping into the countryside, exploring the UK, and relaxing together in their much-loved tent.

Country Director England South WestAndrea Rowan is a passionate follower of Jesus who has been serving God in AoG for over 24 years. A Clinical Psychologist by first profession, Andrea carries an enormous passion to build healthy leaders, healthy churches and see every leader become all that God has called them to be.
Andrea is known for being a dynamic and prophetic speaker, frequently bringing a ‘now word of God’. She is able to bring practical direction, vision and empowerment to all and bring leaders and churches to the next level in their leadership.
Alongside her husband Mark, they are senior Pastors of One Life Church in Devon, in two locations and have just started a £1.5 million central church/community Hub building project. They also have two teenage boys Charlie and Zack and a golden retriever called Milly.

Country Director England CentralDanny, along with his wife Naomi and their three sons, moved to lead Life Church in Bedworth in January 2019. By God's grace they have seen the church become a thriving, diverse and multi-generational church with a vast array of ministries reaching many in the surrounding areas.
Having previously ministered in Bolton and Fraserburgh and having served as a Youth Pastor and an Associate Pastor, Danny has experience of leading in various church roles and community contexts. Danny loves the local church passionately and believes in its God-given mandate to bring redemption and restoration to whole communities. He loves to encourage and equip those around him to rise up in faith and wholeheartedly pursue the call of God for their lives and ministries.
Danny is a family man, a loyal Manchester United supporter, a curry connoisseur and an infrequent gym attendee!

Country Director ScotlandA medical doctor by first profession, Iain Duthie grew the general medical practice of which he was a partner within the city of Aberdeen for over 20 years. His medical career included academic general practice as a senior lecturer at Aberdeen University medical school and also ongoing service as a Police Surgeon (Forensic Medical Examiner) with Police Scotland. In 2004 Iain left full time general practice and along with his wife Elizabeth (a primary school teacher) took on the leadership role at King’s Community Church, Aberdeen. God has been gracious over the past fifteen years with the church growing from just over a hundred to now around one thousand people who gather over four services every Sunday. The church is diverse with around forty nationalities represented from all ages, stages and backgrounds of life. Iain has served on the Scottish leadership Team for AoG for the past twelve years and on the training department of AoG for a similar period of time.
His passion is to build healthy people, a healthy leadership and a healthy church community that equips and encourages lives to be transformed through an ever deepening personal relationship with Jesus Christ; and for the local Church to be a light in the community as a ‘city set on a hilltop’. Iain and his leadership team have developed strong links across a diverse range of civic life within the city. The church is currently in a building acquisition programme and is committed to mission at home and internationally. Iain has five grown up children, all married, now with seven grandchildren; with four out of the five having married internationally and some settled all around the world. Iain is a graduate of Aberdeen University Medical School (MBChB) and is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRCGP) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA)

Country Director WalesDenise Curgenven is a Lancashire lass who along with her husband Simon have been serving God at Hope Church Mid-Wales for over 22 years. Beginning as a Youth Pastor, Denise then transitioned to Associate Pastor and is now the Senior Pastor of the largest AoG Church in Wales.
Denise is a powerful preacher with a prophetic edge who is passionate about building people, building churches, and building leaders. She is a much sought-after Church and Conference speaker and is known for her love for the Bible and zeal for God’s House. Her no nonsense, straight talking style of ministry inspires people to believe for breakthrough and life transformation.

Leadership Development DirectorSimon Jarvis leads the thriving One Church Network and is based in the city of Gloucester, UK.
The vision of One Church is expanding and now covers nine expressions, across the globe, with a heart to invest into more! Simon’s life calling is to grow people and help them discover their God-given potential. To “Live Big”! His zest for life bubbles over into everything he does, especially in leadership development and communication.
Simon has been married to Ally for over 25 years and they have two adult children, Jack and Abigail.
Simon is a keen West Ham & Gloucester rugby fan and enjoys swimming, reading and curry.

3DMission GB DirectorAngela is co-founder and in a leadership role of the Life Church Movement, with 14 Churches and 5 "Start-Ups" and a wider ministry called Impact Europe. She has served in Austria as an AOGGB Missionary for over 38 years as a pioneer Church Planter, Pastor and Mentor.
With an unusual call to Austria as a teenager, she has an enthralling life story of God's ability to take the small, insignificant and unlikely and use it to bring great positive change in many individual lives and influence a whole nation. Inspiring people to answer God's call and empowering them to continue growing as disciples to fulfil the great commission Jesus gave, is Angela's passion and she has a contagious stubborn belief that the world can be reached through the local church.
She is married to Gianni, a fun loving Italian and loves being a mother to her 3 adult children and grandma for 2 little granddaughters whilst living in the suburbs of Vienna and traveling extensively.

Church Health DirectorDerek carries the overall leadership and vision across all six Kings campuses along with his wife, Georgina, they have been married for over 33 years and have 2 grown up children and 1 grandchild. Born and raised in Bolton, Derek initially trained as a landscape gardener before training for full-time ministry over 33 years ago.
After playing pivotal parts in the development of several church leadership teams, Derek and Georgina formed Kings in 2005. Under his leadership Kings has grown beyond Bolton to a multi-campus church. More recently Derek has become of the Senior Leadership Team for Assembles of God, where he takes responsibility for Church Health.
With a contagious enthusiasm for life and a down-to-earth gritty style, Derek's ministry has inspired and challenged people all over the world to grow into everything God has for them.

Church Planting GB DirectorMisheck is married to Sharleen and they have four wonderful children who keep the homelife very active and loud. He is also the former Senior Pastor of Riverside Family Church, Southampton and the former Area/Regional leader for AoG churches in the Southwest. Recently appointed to take on the role of Church Planting Lead for the UK, Misheck and his family have relocated from Southampton to Manchester and he is thrilled to be able to serve pastors and leaders across the country in the area of planting churches.
With a strong passion for seeing believers become disciples, and disciples become witnesses (Acts 1:8), Misheck has been able to serve within various levels of church leadership and corporate leadership over the last 18 years.
